    Like the title says Samsung has announced two new Gear watches. The Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo. The smartwatches are no longer called galaxy as they don't powered by Android OS but with Samsung's OS Tizen. The new Samsung Gear 2 comes with the same 1.63" Super AMOLED display of 320 x 320 screen resolution, but with a dual-core processor clocked to 1GHz rather than 800MHz.


    The new gears comes with a better set of "health sensors" including heart rate monitor, and an Infrared port for remote control your home appliances. Internal storage and RAM are the same as the previous model at 4GB Internal memory and 512MB (RAM) and the battery has been downgraded to 300mAh (from 315mAh) but with Samsung's Tizen OS battery might be more efficient than Android.


    The other model of Gear 2, Neo will not feature the 2MP HD camera but it's weight will be at 55g from 73.8g.
    And last, both the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo will feature IP67 dust and water resistance certification, and they will be thinner and lighter than the original. Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo will both smartwatches probably to be available globally starting this April, but their price is unknown.
