As announced by Sony, the sales of their latest console have successfully reached the 18.5 million, of which 4.1 million correspond to the consoles sold in the last month of last year (2014), during the festive season of Christmas. It also became known that the PlayStation Plus service subscribers reached 10.9 million , an increase of approximately three million over two months. Bear in mind , that the path of the console market started in November 2013 , and at this stage the PS4 leads the new generation consoles race.
Also more information are known about the subscription service "PlayStation Now". From January 13th the cost will be at 19.99 dollars per month or 44.99 dollars per quarter while PS4 holders in USA will have access to over 100 PS3 titles through the online service from Sony.
